International Talent Acquisition at PGXperts
On Monday 24 March 2025, we had the honour of welcoming Joachim Herrmann, Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, Sport and Integration, to our office in Fürth. Together with Dr. Maike Müller-Klier, Head of the IHK Office in Fürth, held a discussion with our Managing Director Herna Munoz-Galeano about the challenges and opportunities of recruiting and integrating international skilled workers. Herna Munoz-Galeano shared how, over the past few years, she has actively promoted the integration of international professionals, among other things, through in-house language courses.
PGXperts and HMG Systems Engineering GmbH are best-practice examples of diversity in action – our team unites talents from six different nations aged between 18 and over 70. Four of our international employees from Colombia, Mexico and China shared their personal experiences of working and living in Bavaria.
The IHK Nuremberg for Middle Franconia is involved in numerous initiatives, such as the Welcome Desk, to help secure international skilled workers and support regional businesses. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bavaria, highly qualified international professionals are essential to remain competitive and innovative.
