As a working student (m/f/d) in the IT infrastructure department, you will support our IT team in the administration and further development of our system landscape. You will work on the maintenance, optimization, and security of our server, network, and cloud environments, helping to ensure smooth IT operations. You will gain valuable practical experience in a modern IT environment and actively contribute your technical expertise to our projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Support with the administration of Linux servers (Ubuntu) – especially via the command line
  • Collaboration on network configuration and maintenance (VPN, VLAN, firewall, WLAN, segmentation)
  • Support for the integration and administration of Windows and Office 365 systems
  • Involvement in IT security issues (patch management, system hardening, monitoring)
  • Installation, maintenance, and management of employee hardware
  • User support for technical questions and everyday IT challenges
  • Collaboration on internal automation or infrastructure projects

Your contribution

  • You are studying computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree program – ideally from the third semester onwards Semester
  • Confident use of Linux (Ubuntu) and Bash
  • Basic knowledge of network technology (e.g., VPN, VLAN, firewall, IP addressing)
  • Initial experience with Windows administration and MS Office 365
  • Basic understanding of IT security principles
  • Technical interest and enjoyment of hands-on work
  • Independent, structured approach to work and team spirit
  • Languages: German and English at a business fluent level
